Lebenslauf

Frau Professor Dr. Angelika Schoster studierte Tiermedizin an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien. Sie schloss dort auch ihre Promotion im Bereich Pferdechirurgie ab.

Sie spezialisierte sich über eine 4-jährige Ausbildung (Internship und Residency) an der Universität Guelph, Kanada auf Innere Medizin des Pferdes und erlange dabei den Diplomate Status des European und American College.

Sie absolvierte einen PhD an der Universität Kopenhagen und arbeitete danach 10 Jahre als Oberärztin an der Klinik für Pferdemedizin der Universität Zürich, wo sie auch ihre Habilitation abschloss.

Seit 2023 ist sie an der LMU und hat an der Tierärztlichen Fakultät den Lehrstuhl für Pferdemedizin und leitet die Klinik für Pferde.
