My research interests

I am currently a Master's student in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and work as a student research assistant in the animal paleogenomics group.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, during which I investigated fungal DNA in an archeological context. This project sparked my interest in ancient DNA research and interdisciplinary approaches combining genetics and archeology.

My current research interests include animal evolution and genetics, population genomics and ancient DNA analysis.
