Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a postdoctoral researcher specialising in conservation genetics and molecular ecology, with extensive experience in the biodiversity hotspots of Southeast Asia, especially Malaysia and Indonesia.
My research explores how anthropogenic pressures, like deforestation, impact biodiversity and contribute to population declines. I employ a range of genomic and spatial techniques to understand conservation issues; this includes museomics (the sequencing of museum specimens) to reconstruct population trends, and molecular biodiversity assessments using environmental DNA (eDNA).
