My research interests

I’m a geneticist from New Zealand and part of the Animal Paleogenomics Group at LMU. I use ancient DNA to investigate how humans and the environment have shaped animal populations over time. My current DFG-funded postdoctoral research uses ancient DNA to reconstruct the history of domestic dogs, including how dogs and humans have evolved together, and the impacts of selective breeding on modern dog diversity.
