My research interests

I completed my PhD in Prof. David MacHugh’s laboratory at University College Dublin, where my research focused on the population and functional genomics of modern and ancient cattle, with particular emphasis on South American and African breeds. I worked extensively with whole genome data to investigate demographic history, selection, admixture, and adaptation.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working in population genomics across multiple livestock species, with a primary focus on cattle. My research centers on large scale genomic datasets to address questions of domestication, population structure, and evolutionary history.
