GPM Research Funding

Dr. Angelika Schoster and Michael Pfaffinger, a resident and doctoral candidate at the Equine Clinic, have received a research grant from the GPM (Society for Equine Medicine). The grant supports their project titled “Prevalence of Infectious Pathogen Shedding in Horses Presented to an Equine Clinic.”

The goal of the project is to gain insights into the frequency of infectious pathogen shedding among clinic patients and thereby contribute to improving infection control in equine medicine.
