Lebenslauf
Herr Dr. Anton Aßmann studierte Tiermedizin an der Justus-Liebig- Universität in Gießen.
Er spezialisierte sich über eine 4-jährige Ausbildung (Internship und Residency) an der Universität Zürich in der Schweiz auf Chirurgie und Orthopädie des Pferdes und erlangte dabei den Diplomate Status des European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Er schloss dort auch seine Promotion im Bereich der Pferdechirurgie ab.
Er arbeitete danach 2 Jahre als Oberarzt an der Klinik für Pferdechirurgie der Universität Zürich.
Seit 2026 ist er an der LMU und hat an der Tierärztlichen Fakultät den Lehrstuhl für Pferdechirurgie.
