Investigation of the mechanisms involved in invasion and modulation of the host cell by apicomplexan parasites

Toxoplasma gondii, like all Apicomplexans, has a complex life cycle but serves as a superior model for studying host invasion and intracellular development. Our research focuses on essential genes, invasion mechanisms, and vesicular trafficking systems crucial for host cell modulation.
