Lab Retreat at Kampenwand

Science, hiking and plenty of laughs: our Kampenwand lab retreat combined scientific discussions with spectacular mountain scenery.
We had a fantastic time at our lab retreat at Kampenwand! Rachel, Ella, Elena, Ningbo and Simon kicked things off with a hike up the mountain, before being joined in the evening by Monami, Helena and Peipei, who opted for the slightly more relaxed cable-car route.
After the climb, the retreat offered plenty of time for games, beautiful mountain views and, most importantly, lots of laughs. It was a great opportunity to spend time together outside the lab and enjoy the spectacular Alpine scenery.
Science was not forgotten either, with scientific talks and discussions accompanied by a rather impressive mountain backdrop!
The following morning, Ningbo and Simon completed the adventure by hiking back down, while the rest of the group chose alternative means of descent.
A wonderful retreat combining science, hiking, great scenery and good company — and a memorable break from everyday lab life!
