DFG Research Grant Awarded to Dr Elena Jimenez-Ruiz

We are delighted to announce that Dr Elena Jimenez-Ruiz has been awarded a three-year DFG Research Grant for her project “Methylation in Motion: Decoding Cytoskeletal Dynamics in Apicomplexan Parasites.”

The newly funded project will investigate the role of methylation in regulating cytoskeletal dynamics in apicomplexan parasites. By exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying these dynamic processes, the research aims to provide new insights into how these important parasites organize and control their cellular machinery.

The three-year funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) will support this exciting new research direction and contribute to a better understanding of fundamental aspects of apicomplexan cell biology.
