Student assistant in the doctoral program for radiology

The Small Animal Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at LMU Munich currently has a vacancy for a student assistant in the doctoral program.

This position involves working in the clinical service of diagnostic radiology. The field of activity includes the technical execution of CT examinations, MRI examinations, X-ray examinations, breeding screening X-ray examinations (HD/ED X-ray), X-ray fluoroscopy, ultrasound examinations and the drafting of radiology reports.
Dr. Andreas Brühschwein and the radiology team are supervising the doctoral thesis with a dissertation topic in imaging diagnostics.

Occupation date: at the earliest possible date

Prerequisite: The position as a student assistant in the doctoral program (clinical collaboration) at the Small Animal Clinic of the LMU is associated with a doctoral thesis. Payment during clinical work at the Small Animal Clinic is in accordance with the regulations for student assistants in doctoral studies at the Center for Clinical Veterinary Medicine at the LMU Munich.
Duration of the practical part of the doctoral thesis: probably 24 months

You are a licensed veterinarian and are interested in scientific work. You enjoy working with people and animals and are enthusiastic about your profession. You are highly motivated, committed, resilient and responsible and are characterized by special team skills, organizational talent, good communication skills and a friendly and empathetic manner.
